SK Gaming have finished top of Group A, following their 16-11 victory over mousesports in their last match.
More than six hours after the official kick off whistle sounded in Kiev CyberSport Arena, Group A has now concluded. The match to settle top finisher in Group A was set to be between mousesports and SK Gaming, who before the match had won all of their matches.
Playing de_inferno, SK scored nine rounds as they finished playing their terrorists side. The CT side started out great for SK, and mousesports saw themselves lagging behind. With 13 rounds in hand, SK saw mousesports fighting back, gaining in on the North American based team. The Russian squad managed to get to 11 rounds before SK picked up a very crucial round, putting the score at 15-11. A attack against the A-bombsite from mousesports the following round did not go in favor of the Russians, seeing SK pick up their sixteenth round and the victory.

SK Gaming with the victory book direct entry to the semi-final. The Russian squad will have to play the relegation stage before they learn whether they will play the semi-final or not. They will be paired with third place finishers from Group B. Third place finishers in Group A turned out to be Swedish team unfinished, who will play second placed team from Group B, to determine their further participation in the tournament.
